YOUR JOB

As Terminal Manager you are ultimately responsible for the most modern tank terminal in Northwest Europe! A terminal with a capacity of 510,000 cbm of which more than 40% is already suitable for the storage of biofuels. The colleagues at the terminal are real experts in their field. It is your job as Terminal Manager to bring these expertises together. You are connected to the daily operation, so you can make decisions quickly and decisively. You have close contact with our head office for the coordination of commercial agreements and also take on a lot of work independently.

• Monitor, assess and take action to improve terminal performance from a health, safety, security and environment (HSSE) perspective.
• Leading and directing the management teams, ensuring efficient operational processes.
• Leading the development of key operational actions for the terminal, anticipating complex problems, challenges and opportunities.
• Develop CAPEX investment proposals, in accordance with HES International’s guidelines and requirements, to develop operations in the Terminal.
• Leading the permit process and procedures with external stakeholders such as DCMR and VRR.
• Prepare annual budgets, manage performance and report to the division, from setting appropriate performance targets to holding them accountable for achieving them and taking corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of annual targets.

In order to be successful, you bring at least the following with you:

• At least 8 years of knowledge of and experience in operationally managing a BRZO organization, preferably within liquid bulk.
• Experience with external stakeholder management (local authorities, customers, trade unions, VOTOB, contractors)
• Business fluency in Dutch and English writing/speaking skills is required.
